A Clarksons piece is, like the craftsmen who have handmade it and their workshop’s unique location, a treasure that you will not find anywhere else in the world – as captivating as it is unique.
Handmade in Edinburgh since 1958, every Clarksons piece carries the mark of the hands that made it — crafted with care in our historic West Bow workshops.
Scotland defines us. Our workshop sits in one of Edinburgh’s time-honoured spots and was founded by Edinburgh College of Art alumni, Ian Clarkson in 1958. Whether it’s our Celtic-inspired designs, or pieces featuring the capital’s very own Castle Rock, or simply the fact we’re handcrafting in Edinburgh’s iconic West Bow, you’ll find Scottish heart in everything we do.
Commission a bespoke piece with us and wear your story, or transform and reimagine old jewellery into something new. We will help you create a piece of jewellery that expresses your unique style and helps to tell your story.
Authentic craftsmanship is rare. But not here. We honour the art of making, combining traditional techniques with CAD design and modern technology at every stage. From initial sketch to digital modelling, every piece is carefully hand-crafted with precision and the upmost care. This is where time-honoured skill meets cutting-edge technology, resulting in work that is both precise and deeply human.
